Who we are
We are a not- for- profit charity, which was set in early 2000 to help build bridges between those who need support and those who would love to help. Our efforts were focused in two specific areas, one was to support people suffering from cancer and the next was to facilitate mental health and wellbeing.
The Foundation conceptualized as a seed, by the founder Jetha Devapura, today has grown to become a huge tree, and is being managed by a dedicated, competent team of likeminded professionals, who have been able to provide, hope and solace to a large number of people over the years.
The CCC Foundation focuses on two main areas of support , one to provide support for Cancer patients during their treatment by providing them accommodation – CCC House, and the second is the provision of a 24 x7 support via a hot line – CCC Line , manned by trained crisis support teams for any one across the country via any phone completely toll free In addition we also encourage all to speak out in the times of distress through a robust method – Let’s Talk.
The three CCC s reflect – Courage, Compassion and Commitment
It is a project initiated under a tri-party MOU with the Ministry of Health, Apeksha Hospital and the CCC Foundation. The project was completed in two phases, phase one became operational in 2009 and phase two by 2013. We are possibly the most experienced facility supporting the Apeksha Hospital and has been functioning continuously since the inception even during the trying times. Our services are provided to the residents completely free of charge.
